Trading

This tab is used to configure the trading parameters for trading symbols.

• Contract Size - Refers to the number of base assets per lot/contract (for currency pairs, the contract size is actually the value of one lot of the base currency of the trading symbol).

If there are existing positions in this symbol, we strongly recommend that you do not change the contract size. This may cause incorrect operation of certain functions.

• Calculation Type - The calculation type for margin and profit for the trading symbol. This parameter also affects the calculation of swap fees. The following calculation types are available:

  • • Forex – Calculation for Forex Trading Symbols;
  • • CFD – Calculation for CFDs.

• Trading Permissions

  • • Disabled - Trading is disabled.
  • • Buy Only - Only buy positions can be opened.
  • • Sell Only - Only sell positions can be opened.
  • • Close Only - Only close positions are allowed. In a hedging account, only closing market operations are allowed. In a netting account, in addition to closing market operations, orders can be placed in the opposite direction. As a result of triggering this order, the existing position will be closed rather than opening a new position (unlike hedging).
  • • Full Access - All types of trading are allowed.。

• GTC

  • • Good Till Cancelled (GTC) - The order is valid until the client cancels it.
  • • Good for the Day, Including SL/TP - The order is valid only for one trading day. At the end of the day, all stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) levels and pending orders will be removed.
  • • Good for the Day, Excluding SL/TP - Only pending orders will be removed at the end of the trading day, while stop loss and take profit levels are retained.

• Order Types - The allowed order types:

  • • Market
  • • Limit
  • • Stop Market
  • • Stop Loss
  • • Take Profit

• Price Change - The minimum price change (tick size).

• Limit and Stop Levels - The range of pending orders from the current market price (calculated in points). Orders cannot be placed for stop loss, take profit, or pending orders within this range. If an attempt is made to place an order within this price range, the server will return an “Invalid Stop” message and will not accept the order.

• Maximum Quote Delay - The delay time (in seconds) for receiving quotes. After this delay, trading for this trading symbol will be automatically disabled. When quotes resume, trading will be automatically enabled again.

• Trading Volume

  • • Minimum Lot Size - The minimum trading volume for orders of this trading symbol. This does not apply to closing positions.
  • • Step Size - The increment by which the trading volume can be changed.
  • • Maximum Lot Size - The maximum trading volume for orders of this trading symbol.
  • • Max Allowed Volume - The maximum allowed cumulative trading volume (for either buy or sell) in positions and pending orders for a given trading symbol.
  • • Maximum Nominal Value - The maximum allowed cumulative nominal value (for either buy or sell) in positions and pending orders for a given trading symbol.
